PANEL DISCUSSION — Everyone manages their own organisation. But who manages the patient’s entire care journey?
From primary care to the university hospital — what can we improve together, rather than waiting for the system to change?
Are well-managed organisations enough to make the whole system work well for patients? Where is there a place for competition, and where do we need cooperation that goes beyond our own organisation’s interests?
A short discussion bringing together managers and owners of healthcare organisations to consider the current situation in healthcare — and, above all, what is within our own control. The focus is on communication between organisations, patient transfers and responsibility for continuity of care. Not just “what the system should change”, but also “what we can do differently — together, starting tomorrow”.
Participants: Michał Huzarski — Vice-President of DCM Dolmed S.A.; Jarosław Rabczenko — Member of the Executive Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship; Maciej Leszkowicz — WSS in Legnica; a representative of district hospitals; a representative of primary care and specialist outpatient care (POZ/AOS); a representative of a university hospital.
